This is Me!

Hi, I’m Lily. I am an avid reader, writer, and sometimes like to do art. I am currently the eldest child in this household of 6, which include:  my little siblings, Ilana(10), Sadie(9), and Ori(3), and my parents Tommy and Lauren, or as I like to call them–Ima and Dad. We also have two dogs, Kiwi and Clapton (both huskies) and they are always finding ways to make us love them and tear up our house whenever given the chance.  My family has fallen apart drastically due to moving and the onset of Covid, causing gaps between each other that we are now trying to fill. We all live under the same roof, and because of Covid we haven’t really been able to go out and do anything.  However, we realized that the relationships we all had with each other were hanging by a thread. 

One night, as my mother and I were talking we came up with the idea of creating a blog. Well, let’s be honest, we were talking about doing a sewing project, like making wallets.  Then we slowly started building up the idea. “We should have notebooks assigned to each project we do!” “What if we made a video tutorial when we make something?!” “We are doing a lot of hikes and taking lots of photos.  We should find a way to post them!” Eventually we called a friend and she told us we should create a blog.  Thus, ‘Birds of a Feather Stuck Together’ was born. This blog, and every thing else we do with ‘Birds of a Feather Stuck Together’, is going to show us doing everything we can to reconnect, experiment, build new relationships, help find future paths, goof around, and (hopefully) help families who are going through the same thing.
